Escaping Flatland

Dimensions have always been a major aspect in artwork of all stages. Kids when they are young draw extremely flat planes and stick figures. However, as they progress they begin to escape this flatland. The article on this concept had many interesting concepts within it. When they talked about our language and how it "lacks immediate capacity to communicate a sense of dimensional complexity." Made me think of how language is normally not very complex and uses a great amount of basic slang. I also thought the way they used visuals in the article was very creative and interesting. Such as the McDonald's map and the stereo images. Overall, I think that this article made a bunch of valid points that actually opened my eyes once more about the world.
